It was a mere 365 days ago that the McLibel Judge finally gave his verdict in the longest trial in English history. To celebrate the anniversary - and to protest at the mainstream media's suppression of the film - we are planning a fun-packed few days.

In London, on the 20th, there will be a press screening and debate (with the McLibel defendants, the director of the film, Michael Mansfield QC and possibly Ken Loach) at the Riverside Studios. Book your tickets now (box office: 0181 237 1111).

Up and down the country, we are encouraging people to organise local video screenings. Hopefully, there will be more than 50. It would obviously be excellent if you could set up something in your area. But don't panic: it's not as difficult as it sounds. We've prepared some helpful hints and a press release for you to send to your local papers.

The summer schedule of screenings at festivals and the suchlike is also filling up nicely now. Please let us know of any more.
